Reconstructive surgery

Reconstructive surgery is the basis of the work done by oculoplastic surgeons.  The upper face, eyelids, brow, forhead and orbit can be damaged by a range of conditions from trauma to cancer.

Oculoplastic surgeons are ophthalmic surgeons who have undergone additional training in order to have the surgical skill and expertise to be able to reconstruct the eyelids, orbit and upper face.

Most reconstructive conditions are covered for treatment by the NHS. If you have any problems with your eyelids you should first see your GP who will be able to refer you for NHS treatment.

If you wish to bypass the NHS and choose your surgeon, I am happy for you to contact my PA directly, but you may still wish to see your GP first and request a private referral.
