I trained in medicine at Cambridge University and then Charing Cross and Westminster Medical School. I qualified in 1992 and then studied ophthalmic surgery in Oxford. I specialised in oculoplastic and lacrimal surgery with fellowship training in Oxford, and then further fellowship training in Melbourne, Australia.
I was awarded my certificate of completion of specialist training in 2001 and am on the General Medical Council Specialist Register.
I was appointed an NHS Consultant Ophthalmic Surgeon with a special interest in oculoplastic and lacrimal surgery to the Gloucestershire Hospitals NHS Trust in September 2003. I have clinics in Cheltenham, Gloucester and Tewkesbury, and operate at Cheltenham, Tewkesbury and the Nuffield.
I’m a fellow of the Royal College of Ophthalmologists, a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology and a founder member of the British Oculoplastic Surgeons Society.
